This song was largely influenced by the song-writing style of Rick "Pops" Walker.

Here I sit again,
Singing to this microphone as if anyone really gives two cents about what I have to say.
And there she goes again,
Walking up and breaking all my strings just like it's no big thing.

And I wonder-
When did it become okay to play with people's hearts this way?
Where was I when someone gave permission to this girl to go and break my heart?

And what's up with these kids?
Lately I've been watching, and I can't help but notice that they seem stupid.
(Well I'm sorry.)
Too much reality t.v., and not enough reality if you ask me.
But then again, no one did.

And I wonder-
When did it become okay to waste the whole entire day staring at the screen.
