This is (obviously) a cover song. It was written by The Cure, although it has been covered by a number of other artists.

I have taken the liberty of making a small change to the lyrics of the chorus, changing the "I" to "you" in two of the lines. It's a very subtle thing, but I think it changes the meaning of the lyrics in a way that I felt was appropriate for me when I was recording this song.
